BSA Health System is seeking an innovative leader and strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills with customers, employees, physicians and BSA leadership; the successful candidate is responsible for establishing, managing and evaluating the comprehensive Employee Health function of the organization along with overseeing and managing the Ardent Texas Occupational Injury Program.  

Job Summary:
A professional Registered Nurse to manage and oversee all phases of Occupational Health for the BSA Health System employing over 3,000 employees with a medical staff of more than 450 physicians in multiple locations.  Occupational Health daily activities include new hire physical assessment, wellness screenings and oversight of Corporate Wellness initiatives, random and reasonable suspicions screenings, assessment and referral of acutely ill employees, coordinator of immunization recommended by the CDC, providing consultation regarding infection control, mental health and overall well-being employee-related issues, OSHA reporting, work-related injury tracking, investigation and reporting along with administration and tracking of FMLA, environmental safety orientation and workplace assessment and supervision of department staff (2 full-time FTE’s). 

Education/Requirements:
Current Texas RN license; BSN required
BLS or CPR required

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
3 to 5 years minimum clinical nursing or Occupational/Employee Health experience
Leadership and management skills in a hospital environment preferred
Interpersonal skills effective in fostering team building, communication, and professional accountability
Competent computer use including various computer programs, analyzing data and generating reports
Solid understanding of department financial and budget reports
Possess strong verbal and written communication, organizational, teamwork and follow-through skills
Multi-task constantly and tolerate interruptions
Clear and effective delegation skills
Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team
