Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Schedule: Full - Time Regular

  Job Summary:
  Assesses, treats and develops care plans for patients. Assist CT Surgeon. 

  Education/Licenses and Certifications :
  Current Certification from State of Texas for Nurse Practitioner
Current P.A License from the State of Texas Medical Board

  Previous surgical experience required, skilled in physical assessment.
  Must exhibit desire to exemplify the BSA culture, including the BSA Mission, Vision and the BSA   Way.  
  Position requires fluency and communication in English language to function in job environment appropriately. 
  Strong communication skills include:   Good organizational and follow-through skills,   Strong verbal skills. 
  Ability to read and understand English language.
  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers and healthcare professionals at all levels.
  Legible writing skills and penmanship.
  Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
  Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
  Must be able to quickly evaluate and assess patient conditions and develop appropriate treatment plan.
  Ability to deal with employees, patients, physicians and visitors in stressful situations.
  Ability to communicate with patient and patient family members in a professional manner.
  Must be well versed in HIPAA laws and keep patient documentation and information confidential.
  Ability to multi-task constantly and tolerate interruptions. 
  Must be willing to work as part of a cohesive medical team to care for patients and deliver exceptional customer service
