Graduate or Registered Nurse

Shift: Night
Schedule: Full - Time Regular

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and health needs of their patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with the patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team members.

Licenses and Certifications:
  Current Texas RN license or eligible for issue of Texas GN Permit
  CPR certified from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  PALS certification required within 6-months of hire
  APHON certification desired within 6-months of hire

  Previous bedside nursing experience desired; Pediatrics or PICU experience preferred
  Chemotherapy certified or willingness to become certified
  Assess (acutely and chronically ill children), plan, evaluates, documents total nursing process
  Organized, self-motivated with exceptional follow-through skills
  Computer skills necessary 40wpm; EMR EPIC documentation
  Multi-task constantly and tolerate multiple interruptions
  Clear and effective communication with pedi patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  Ability to connect and communicate with children
  Compassionate customer service skills
  Committed to patient and family satisfaction
