Echo Tech, PT Days

Shift: Day
Schedule: Part - Time Regular

Job Summary:
  Receive and process orders to perform ECHO’s, ECG’s, and apply Holter monitors, complete necessary paperwork to include editing, filing and charting reports.  Interacts positively to all patients, staff, and physicians. Must have experience performing echocardiography studies.

  Education/Licensures/Certifications :
  High school diploma or equivalent
  CPR certification
  ACLS certification preferred
ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS) or CCI (RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or Registry Eligible
  Registered Echocardiography Technologist 
  or
 
Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiography studies Preferred
  Registry in Adult Cardiac Ultrasound
  Registry in Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound preferred  

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience
  Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies
  Vast Knowledge of Cardiac Ultrasound
  Good Leadership Qualities
  Knowledge with a variety of echo equipment vendors and CVIS systems
  Ability to adapt to changing situations
  Fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately

  Must possess excellent customer service skills
  Good organizational and follow-through skills
  Ability to multi-task constantly and tolerate interruptions
