Job Summary:
Provision and documentation of examinations, evaluations, establish functional OT diagnosis, prognoses, and plans of care including formulation of treatment goals, providing occupational therapy intervention to patients, measuring and reporting outcomes and formulating and carrying out discharge plans. Supervision of licensed and non-licensed assigned staff or students. Interact and practice in collaboration with other professionals. Individuals must comply with the Texas Occupational Therapy Practice Acts and Rules.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
OT licensed in the state of Texas
CPR certified from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Occupational Therapy experience in an acute care hospital and/or rehabilitation facility preferred
Ability to effectively function as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to supervise, delegate, and communicate with multiple team members
Top-notch organizational and follow-through skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Computer usage required, EMR EPIC documentation
Compassionate and committed to providing excellent customer service
