The Diagnostic Imaging Tech II or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is accountable for the health status and health needs of their patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with the patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team members. 

Licenses and Certifications:
 

  Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
or
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) –Texas Department of State Health Services (or within 6 months of employment)


  CPR
ACLS
  Associates Degree of Radiology preferred

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  Interventional Cardiology/Cath Lab experience preferred
  Critical thinking skills
  Ability to work as a team extremely important
  Organized, able to prioritize and multi-task
  Self-motivated, adaptable and being flexible are a must
  Computer skills necessary; EMR Epic documentation;  Mac-Lab Hemodynamic Recording  
  Clear and effective communication with physicians, patients, families, multiple departments and other healthcare professionals
  Compassionate customer service skills
  Committed to patient and family satisfaction
